Summary: We are seeking a skilled API Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services and APIs.
Responsibilities: Design and develop RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot Build microservices architecture and integrate with existing systems Write clean, maintainable, and testable code Implement security best practices including OAuth, JWT, and API authentication Optimize API performance and database queries Create and maintain API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI) Collaborate with frontend developers and cross-functional teams Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers Debug and troubleshoot production issues Requirements: - years of professional Java development experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Required Skills: Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA Proficient in REST API design principles and best practices Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks Knowledge of API security patterns and authentication mechanisms Understanding of microservices architecture Familiarity with version control (GitHub) Experience with build tools (Maven/Gradle) Preferred Skills: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Experience with CI/CD pipelines Understanding of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) Knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) Top Skills: Java Spring Boot RESTful API development AditiConsulting
