Job Description:

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure RESTful APIs using Java and industry-standard development practices.

Contribute to API ecosystem strategy, architecture, governance, standards, and best practices across the organization.

Design and implement APIs with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, security, and reusability.

Develop and maintain Java-based backend services and microservices supporting enterprise API solutions.

Work with AWS and other cloud platforms for API development, deployment, configuration, and operational support.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate API build, testing, deployment, and release processes.

Contribute to platform engineering initiatives, enabling standardized, reusable, and self-service API development and deployment capabilities.

Implement API lifecycle practices covering design, development, versioning, security, deployment, monitoring, and retirement.

Configure and maintain logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability for APIs and backend services.

Troubleshoot API and production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Collaborate with architects, platform engineers, developers, DevOps teams, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver robust API solutions.

Ensure adherence to API security, governance, coding, documentation, testing, and deployment standards throughout the SDLC.

Participate in production support and help ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of API platforms.
