About the Role
We are looking for an experienced API Testing / Databricks Engineer with strong expertise in functional testing, database validation, and API testing. The role requires solid hands-on experience with Agile projects, automation, and modern data tools such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or Power BI.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional testing to validate software features and workflows.
- Conduct API testing (preferably using Postman) to ensure integration accuracy and reliability.
- Validate and query databases for test coverage and data consistency.
- Collaborate with Agile teams, participating in sprints, stand-ups, and reviews.
- Work with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or Power BI to support analytics and reporting needs.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in testing and QA roles.
- Strong knowledge of functional testing concepts and practices.
- Hands-on experience in API testing (Postman preferred).
- Proficiency with databases (mandatory).
- Solid experience working in Agile environments .
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of test automation (Selenium, Python).
- Experience in Databricks , Microsoft Fabric , or Power BI (at least one required).
Alternative Skills (Nice to Have)
- ETL experience with Talend .
- Data visualization with OBIEE, Tableau, or ESS .
- Building dashboards and data pipelines .
- Experience with AWS services .
