Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Integration Software Engineer with strong experience in
Microsoft Azure Integration Services to design, build, and maintain scalable API and integration solutions.
This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, leading integration initiatives, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring secure, high-performance integrations across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities Design and lead end-to-end integration architectures and complex integration projects Establish integration standards, best practices, and reusable frameworks Design, develop, and maintain API & integration solutions using: Azure Logic Apps Azure Functions Azure API Management Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Data Factory Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into integration solutions Implement and manage data integration processes ensuring accuracy and consistency Optimize APIs and integrations for performance, scalability, and reliability Apply secure coding practices, including OAuth, JWT, and API security standards Design and manage relational database schemas , queries, and performance tuning Utilize Azure Data Lake and Azure Blob Storage for large-scale data processing Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Mentor junior engineers and support team capability growth Maintain technical documentation for APIs, integrations, and configurations Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience – years of experience as a Software Engineer with strong API & integration background Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services : Logic Apps, Functions, API Management Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Data Factory Strong programming experience in C and .NET Working knowledge of Python and PowerShell scripting Strong experience with REST and SOAP APIs (development and consumption) Experience with ETL/data integration techniques and data mapping Strong experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) Solid understanding of: Microservices architecture Event-driven and asynchronous systems SOLID principles and design patterns Experience with Git and Azure DevOps Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, and API authentication mechanisms Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with non-relational databases Experience with automated testing (Unit, Integration, End-to-End) Exposure to monitoring and logging in cloud environments Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments Understanding of security best practices in integration solutions Experience working across multiple industry domains Work Environment Global delivery model with collaboration across time zones Monday to Friday work week Shift aligned to global business requirements (: PM – : PM IST)
