Experteer Overview In this role, you design, build, and maintain high-volume mainframe logic while refactoring legacy code to enable seamless cloud and mobile interaction. You will contribute to our modernization mission, working with a global team of experts and applying AI-powered insights to improve performance and enable faster innovation. You’ll tackle complex debugging, optimization, and migration tasks that impact mission-critical systems. Responsibilities
- Maintain mainframe performance by analyzing and optimizing code
- Debug, troubleshoot, and verify complex system interactions
- Extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or cloud integration
- Experience as a software engineer on complex projects
- Strong coding skills in Java, Python, .NET with debugging abilities
- Experience with software development methodologies for scalable, robust software
- Experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI for enterprise modernization
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, REST services
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), messaging queues
- Deep understanding of OOP and design patterns
