Your role and responsibilities We are seeking motivated developers who are passionate about building modern digital solutions across web, mobile, APIs, cloud platforms & emerging technologies. You’ll work alongside architects, engineers, designers & product stakeholders to deliver solutions for enterprise clients and internal innovation initiatives.
In this role, you may contribute to:
Building frontend applications using React, Angular or modern web frameworks
Developing backend services and APIs using Java, Node.js or similar technologies
Supporting cloud-native deployments using Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
Participating in Agile delivery teams and sprint ceremonies
Building prototypes, proofs of concept and innovation solutions
Contributing to mobile or AI initiatives where relevant
Solving real business problems through software engineering best practices
This position resides in Toronto and is a 4-month work term commencing in September 2026. It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work-term.
Required technical and professional expertise
Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Swift, Kotlin or similar
Understanding of software development fundamentals such as debugging, APIs, version control and problem solving
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn independently
Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
Preferred technical and professional experience
Experience with React, Angular or other frontend frameworks
Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, or REST APIs
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, or GCP
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes
Exposure to mobile development (iOS, Android, React Native)
Exposure to AI tools, automation, workflows
Personal projects, hackathons, co-op experience or open-source contributions
Apply AI capabilities (e.g., large language models, computer vision, generative AI or automation APIs) to real-world use cases
