In this role you will design and implement backend features and APIs to deliver a smooth, scalable user experience. You will connect front-end and back-end systems, ensure performance and security, and collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to meet SLAs. You will stay current with new technologies and integrate innovative solutions to improve the development cycle and end-user experience. This position sits in IBM Consulting Delivery Centers, driving deep technical and industry expertise for diverse clients worldwide.

Responsabilità
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Solid experience with Quarkus
- Strong Java design and development skills
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs
- Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with Kafka-based messaging systems
- Microservices architecture and integration best practices
- Proficiency in Italian
- Preferred: Hands-on Kubernetes experience for container orchestration and deployment
