Job Title: Application Developer

Job Type: Contract / Part-Time
Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.

  • Support website home page redesign and user experience improvements.

  • Configure and optimize website search using Drupal and Apache Solr.

  • Develop and customize Drupal front-end components.

  • Manage website content, documents, images, multimedia, and digital assets through Drupal CMS.

  • Maintain accessible, consistent, and user-friendly website content.

  • Implement WCAG accessibility requirements.

  • Support website hosting environments and server-side configurations.

  • Apply website security practices, including SSL/TLS, firewalls, vulnerability monitoring, and malware prevention.

  • Perform Drupal, module, theme, and plugin updates.

  • Troubleshoot website, search, server, and user-access issues.

  • Test website changes for functionality, accessibility, security, usability, and performance.

  • Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors.

  • Document technical changes, configurations, issues, and resolutions.


Requirements
  • Strong experience with Drupal CMS and Drupal-based web development.

  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

  • Hands-on experience with Apache Solr or Drupal search technologies.

  • Experience with Drupal front-end development and customization.

  • Experience with website hosting and server configurations.

  • Knowledge of WCAG and web accessibility standards.

  • Understanding of website security practices, including SSL/TLS and vulnerability management.

  • Experience managing website content through a CMS.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
