List of Duties include but aren’t limited to:
- Application development and support using Delphi and SQL
- Developing applications written by and/or supported by Prophet
- Gathering information by talking to customers, project managers and other staff to form a specification of a modification and then give a brief of the requirement
- Interact with customers for fault resolution and training on new and modified systems
- Being on 24/7 call on the rota (typically 4-6 times a year for one week at a time).
- Help to train other staff in-house and bring junior programmers up to speed, as well as being available to assist other programmers in areas with which they are less familiar
- Site visits will be required
- Any other related tasks as required by the line manager
Job Specifications, Standards and Requirements:
Essential skills are: Delphi, SQL.
Desirable: ability to work in a team and also alone on a specific project. Good customer-facing manner. Delphi, SQL Server 2005 and later.

Equipment to be used in the performance of the job:
All necessary equipment (Microsoft, PC-based software) will be provided but the position requires that the applicant has access to a PC/broadband connection at home for call-out duties when necessary.
