The EVS Support- Dev Ops role is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing our event-driven infrastructure and Dev Ops environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of data streaming and integration platforms.
Knowledge of tools such as Apache Kafka, Apache Ni Fi, Rabbit MQ, and RTI, as well as manage containerized and cloud-native workloads using Red Hat, Open Shift and Kubernetes. This role involves incident management, automation scripting, and close collaboration with development, infrastructure, and monitoring teams.
Responsibilities Event Streaming & Integration Support Manage and support data streaming platforms (Kafka, Ni Fi, Rabbit MQ, RTI). Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize event-driven workflows and data pipelines. Ensure reliability, scalability, and fault-tolerance of streaming systems. Perform topic management, consumer group tuning, and schema validation. Dev Ops & Platform Maintenance Deploy, configure, and manage containerized applications on Red Hat Open Shift and Kubernetes clusters. Automate operational processes using Bash scripting and CI/CD tools. Maintain and troubleshoot Linux servers supporting streaming infrastructure. Support integration environments via m Remote, PUTTY, and File Zilla for remote access and transfers. Implement and maintain monitoring dashboards using Grafana and Prometheus. Respond to alerts and incidents using Pager Duty, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and produce incident reports. Work closely with developers to debug and optimize services using Postman and Visual Studio. Maintain technical documentation and process guides in Confluence. Track and manage support tickets, bugs, and project tasks in Jira. Support Dev Ops lifecycle improvements and environment readiness for deployments. SkillsTechnical Proficiency: Strong understanding of event streaming technologies (Kafka, Ni Fi, Rabbit MQ, RTI). Solid experience with Linux administration (Red Hat / Cent OS preferred). Hands-on experience with Open Shift and Kubernetes container orchestration. Proficiency in Bash scripting and automation.
Tools & Platforms: m Remote, PUTTY, File Zilla for remote access and file management. Grafana for monitoring and visualization. Visual Studio and Postman for debugging and API testing. Jira and Confluence for documentation and issue tracking. Pager Duty for on-call alert management.

Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience. 3+ years’ experience in Dev Ops, Platform Engineering, or Event Streaming Support role.
