About RolePosition: Software Developer / Application Developer
Type: Onsite, Contractual role - 6 Months and extendable based on performance and requirement
Key Responsibilities- Engage business users to understand operational needs and identify opportunities for internal application development and process automation.
- Design, develop, test, deploy and support internal web applications using Next.js, FastAPI and Python under the company digital application framework.
- Develop automation solutions using Python, Power Apps, Power Automate, web scraping and RPA tools such as UiPath or suitable open-source frameworks.
- Build integrations with enterprise systems, databases, APIs, Microsoft 365 services and cloud platforms.
- Apply OCR, computer vision or computer-use technologies, such as Paddle OCR, where appropriate for screen, desktop or document automation.
- Use Git and CI/CD practices to support source control, testing and controlled deployment.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide production support, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
- Ensure solutions comply with company security, privacy, access control and governance requirements.
- Support ad-hoc application development, SaaS admin support, automation and digital transformation projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in application development, automation, RPA or Power Platform solution delivery.
- Hands-on experience in Python and web application development; knowledge of Next.js and FastAPI is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (e.g. Power Apps and Power Automate) is preferred.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, REST APIs, SQL and cloud-based application deployment.
- Experience with a major cloud platform is preferred; Google Cloud Platform experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of AI, generative AI, AI agents, computer vision, RAG or computer-use automation is beneficial.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Able to work independently and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.
