Application Developer / Programmer (Python & JavaScript)

Responsibilities:
- Custom Maximo Solutions — design and maintain tailored solutions in IBM Maximo Asset Management using JavaScript and Python.
- Testing & Debugging — perform unit testing, debugging, and automation script validation.
- Team Collaboration — work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs, including integrations with third-party applications.
- Code & Design Reviews — contribute to reviews to uphold quality standards.
- System Support — troubleshoot and resolve Maximo system issues promptly, including root cause analysis.
- Technical Documentation — document customizations, configurations, and interfaces.
- Upgrades & Migrations — support version upgrades and migrations, including testing and validation.
- Service Level Response — handle support calls within agreed SLAs.
Requirements:
- Degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Python, including APIs and extensions.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to work in a team.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, vendor and contract management skills
- Good communication in English and/or Chinese (including Putonghua).
