Title: Senior Application Developer Python / AWS / Kubernetes Location: New York, NY Duration: 12 Months
We are seeking an experienced Application Developer with strong expertise in Python, AWS Cloud, web application development, APIs, containerization, and Oracle databases. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise web applications and cloud-based solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Python Web Development
- Hands-on experience with Django and/or FastAPI
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs
- Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and AJAX
- Strong experience with AWS Cloud Development and Deployment
- Hands-on experience with AWS API Gateway
- Experience with AWS IAM / Identity Center
- Knowledge of serverless and server-based deployment strategies
- Experience with Docker containerization
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes / Amazon EKS
- Strong SQL and Oracle PL/SQL skills
- Experience with Bash and/or PowerShell scripting
- Experience with Git/GitHub and source control
- Experience with object-oriented design and data modeling
- Experience building web applications for internal and/or external users
- Experience with third-party application integration
- Understanding of web application security
- Experience with application testing, deployment, and release activities
- Knowledge of cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility
- Understanding of accessibility and user experience principles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with financial, payment, transaction, or revenue-based applications
- Experience developing real-time transaction processing systems
- AWS Cloud Developer certification
- Experience with SEO coding best practices
- Experience with Red Hat, OpenShift, Infor, ColdFusion, ION, or Swift
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
