Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Practitioner with foundational Unix/Linux expertise for a large-scale Mainframe Rehosting Program involving migration from IBM z/OS to Unikix.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end validation of mainframe batch jobs and online transactions

• Validate functional equivalence between z/OS and Unikix environments

• Conduct SIT, regression, baseline, comparison, and performance testing

• Execute and monitor batch cycles, reruns, restarts, and abend analysis

• Compare flat files, VSAM datasets, reports, and database outputs

• Create test plans, validation strategies, and documentation

• Support parallel run execution and migration validation

• Write basic Unix/Linux shell scripts for automation and validation support

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in Mainframe technologies

Knowledge of z/OS, Unikix, batch processing, and online validation

Exposure to CA7 Scheduler

Basic Unix/Linux scripting knowledge

Strong analytical and defect resolution skills
