Your location: Hamburg Finkenwerder
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.
Are you wondering how you actually get from university to Airbus? Your working student position is at the Finkenwerder plant and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry terminal and back to the university in the morning and at noon. Alternatively, you can take the ferry to Finkenwerder and then ride your bike for about another 15 minutes to the main entrance.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Design: Enhance our Python applications, specifically focusing on the continuous improvement of an application dealing with fatigue loads pre and post processing.
You will work on writing flexible interfaces, modernizing the codebase, and developing new functionalities.
Testing: Demonstrate integrity through robust integration and end-to-end testing.
Collaboration: Work with industry-leading experts in the Component Loads team to design the next generation aircraft.
Desired skills and qualifications
Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of aeronautical or industrial engineering, IT or related discipline.
Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Python programming, Linux, CI/CD pipeline, ideally with an interest in code modernization and testing frameworks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Fluent in English.
