Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy resilient Python-based microservices and full-stack applications using modern frameworks. Build and maintain clean, secure, and well-documented RESTful APIs to support various front-end and backend systems. Implement asynchronous and concurrent programming techniques to create high-performance, low-latency backend services. Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them in a Kubernetes environment with Helm. Drive CI/CD and release automation initiatives using Git, Tekton, Harness, and other enterprise tools to ensure smooth and frequent deployments. Collaborate with middleware engineering teams on the configuration and management of WebSphere Liberty, WAS ND, IBM HTTP Server, and Apache. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with tools like Ansible. Uphold stringent security and compliance standards, managing SSL/TLS certificates, implementing vulnerability remediation plans, and using tools like CyberArk. Set up and maintain monitoring and observability solutions with AppDynamics and the ELK stack to ensure system health and performance. Cloud Platforms: Proven experience with on-premises cloud provisioning, application migration, and familiarity with new cloud platforms. CI/CD & Release Automation: Proficiency with Git, Tekton, Harness, and LightSpeed Enterprise. Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm. Infrastructure as Code: Strong skills in Ansible and CAS automation. Middleware & Security
