Application Lead - Enterprise Java & Cloud
POSITION OVERVIEW
- The Application Lead will own the design, delivery, and day-to-day operations of enterprise Java applications, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with business goals. This role bridges development and production by driving technical build quality alongside live environment reliability. The team focuses on leading microservices, API integrations, and cloud initiatives while incorporating cutting-edge Generative AI features into enterprise systems.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead end-to-end application design, architectural standards, and delivery for enterprise Java solutions.
- Drive hands-on implementation across Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and API Management.
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize cloud-native applications across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Integrate AI/ML-powered capabilities and Generative AI features into enterprise applications following security and governance guidelines.
- Lead production support and operations, acting as the primary escalation point for critical incidents, root cause analysis, and post-mortems.
- Collaborate with SRE, platform, and DevOps teams to maintain and enhance monitoring, alerting, observability, and deployment pipelines.
