Senior Application Full Stack Development – Inventory Management, VP

Position Overview
As part of the Inventory Management Applications Suite, the Senior Application Developer will lead high‑volume, low‑latency enterprise Java applications for the Stock Record and related applications in the Capital Markets domain. The role focuses on micro‑service architecture, design patterns, and delivering robust, scalable solutions while providing Level 3 support. Responsibilities
Lead design and development of full‑stack Java applications, ensuring they can adapt and scale to changing market conditions. Drive delivery of application technology solutions, manage technical development environments, and coordinate with the Enterprise team to meet time‑bound requirements. Provide guidance on testing strategy, performance testing, and tuning of non‑functional application aspects. Lead migration of monolithic WebLogic applications to micro‑service ecosystems, or hybrid architectures where appropriate. Translate client requirements into user stories in JIRA and present architectural impacts to stakeholders. Maintain technical and functional requirements, deciding on technical solutions. Develop solutions in accordance with established design, development standards, and quality processes. Create test automation suites to reduce QA regression effort. Identify system bottlenecks, design and implement robust solutions. Collaborate with end‑user clients, project managers, scrum masters, business analysts, offshore teams, QA, and other cross‑functional stakeholders. Lead developers through design challenges, perform code reviews, and participate in design and implementation reviews. Ensure operational readiness before production deployment and track remediation of issues for resiliency, risk, and performance. Work with production support to resolve incidents and stay current with new development tools and strategies. Inspire other resources with best practices, process improvement, and mentorship within the Inventory Management Application team and the broader organization. Mandatory Skills
BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. 6+ years as a Senior Java Developer with end‑to‑end solutions. Senior technical project leadership, innovative self‑starter, and multi‑tasking ability. Experience working in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced global environment supporting multiple priorities. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. 8+ years with Oracle RDBMS design, PL/SQL, triggers, and performance tuning. Experience migrating Oracle RDBMS to ECS cloud and NoSQL, and implementing large‑volume real‑time solutions on Big Data and public cloud platforms. 6+ years ETL experience, including Talend, Informatica, Spark, etc. Microservices experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Config, Netflix OSS (Eureka, Zuul, Hystrix), Pivotal Cloud Foundry, ZooKeeper, AWS, and related tools. Strong Java concurrency and thread‑safe coding expertise. Experience with transaction management, JTA, and building high‑volume, low‑latency applications. Command of Java, J2EE, JBoss, MQ, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Windows, and Linux. Shell scripting and Unix/Linux/Windows system administration. Relational and non‑relational data modeling and SQL query expertise. Core Java, server‑side Java, JavaScript, MVC pattern, and Spring Framework. Network infrastructure knowledge (HTTP/S, TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, load‑balancers, firewalls, proxies, B2B links). Use of JMS with Tibco/IBM MQ middleware. Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring JMS, Spring JDBC, Spring Security. Front‑end frameworks: Angular, React.js, jQuery. Deployments to AWS, GCP, PCF, and other cloud platforms. WebLogic 10 and 12c experience. Agile/Scrum experience with multiple projects. SDLC experience. Microservices development with Spring Boot, AppDynamics, Docker, MongoDB/Cassandra, Kubernetes, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Swagger, etc. Java multi‑threaded programming (7+ years). Test‑Driven Development experience (7+ years). Stored procedure writing (7+ years). Version control with GitHub, Bitbucket, Subversion, Perforce. DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, UrbanCode, Maven, Gradle. Nice to Have Skills
Experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana stack. AWS, Data Warehousing, and Oracle RDBMS certifications. Capital Market domain experience. Job Family Group
