Application Manager / IT Project Manager (Java, over $70K)

Job Description
To manage and supervise an internal project team with system analysts and programmers, and outsourced contractors to provide technical support
To lead the project team and outsourced contractors to perform various system development and maintenance support tasks
To lead the project team and outsourced contractors to implement various application enhancements including those for the extension of claim period of additional child allowance for newborns
To perform project management functions for the projects and systems
Requirements
Degree or above in IT related subjects
At least 8 years’ experience in IT application development and 3 years in project management
Proven track record in leading software development teams, particularly in architecture roles.
Strong proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies.
Solid experience in system analysis, design and application programming for the development and maintenance of web applications with Java, JavaScript and J2EE
At least 5 years experience working with Government projects
Solid experience in implementing and supporting crucial systems
Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure
