As an Application Packaging Engineer, you will:
- Package and publish applications to end-user devices in accordance with customer policies and procedures.
- Analyze and collect technical requirements for application software.
- Support, maintain, and develop application packages to meet business requirements.
- Troubleshoot application installation issues on end-user systems.
- Resolve issues where users cannot access or see applications in the company portal.
- Ensure applications function correctly after installation and match the source package.
- Analyze cache logs to identify and resolve package deployment failures.
- Perform application re-engineering when required.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 6+ years of experience as an Application Packaging Engineer.
- Extensive knowledge of modern Microsoft environments.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Digital Workplace Studio.
- Experience with application packaging, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of application lifecycle management and software deployment processes.
- Knowledge of secure and stable digital workplace environments.
You should possess the ability to:
- Analyze technical requirements and translate them into effective application packages.
- Troubleshoot application installation and deployment issues.
- Identify and resolve application visibility and publishing issues.
- Analyze cache logs and investigate package deployment failures.
- Ensure applications meet functional and technical requirements after installation.
- Work effectively with deployment processes, policies, and procedures.
- Perform application re-engineering and optimize existing application packages.
