Requirements for Application Software Engineer: <\/b>
<\/div>
- History of academic excellence including a 2:1 or 1st class honours degree from a leading university plus AAB at A Level (or equivalent UCAS points)
<\/span><\/li> - Solid commercial experience using JavaScript and ideally, node.js and related technologies/frameworks - top new graduates considered for the Cambridge office
<\/span><\/li> - You class yourself as a tech innovator and the idea of shaping products and suggesting new technologies really appeals
<\/span><\/li> - Ability to quickly pick up new technologies – working in JavaScript you’re aware new technologies/frameworks emerge all of the time, and you will need to stay abreast of the latest and best technologies to apply to any given project
<\/span><\/li> - Good communication skills

<\/div>Responsibilities for Application Software Engineer – Graduate Considered: <\/b>
<\/div>- Work on web applications using a diverse toolset based around JavaScript technologies. While there will be opportunities to work across the stack. The current tech stack includes:
<\/span><\/li> - Web (UI): JavaScript (backbone.js, d3.js, three.js, pdf.js), Less/CSS
<\/span><\/li> - Web (Backend): Node.js, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis
<\/span><\/li> - Develop, deploy and maintain web application infrastructure
<\/span><\/li> - Be a tech innovator and put ideas forward to the team
<\/span><\/li> - If you are keen there is the opportunity to mentor junior members of staff
