Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead / IT Application Solution Senior with a strong Java background to lead the architecture, design, development, and delivery of complex cloud-native enterprise solutions. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Angular, AWS, microservices, event-driven architecture, and enterprise integrations.
The ideal candidate will provide technical direction across multiple teams while remaining actively involved in software development. The individual will work closely with Product Owners, Architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 8+ years of hands-on Java development.
- 3+ years of experience in a Technical Lead, Lead Engineer, Solution Lead, or similar role.
- 5+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and enterprise application development.
- 3+ years of hands-on Kafka experience, including messaging, event streaming, administration, and optimization.
- Extensive experience designing and supporting AWS cloud-native solutions.
- Strong experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, EC2, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular and modern web application frameworks.
- Strong understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture, DDD, service decomposition, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Framework concepts including dependency injection, conditional beans, custom configuration, and auto-configuration.
- Experience with configuration-driven applications, feature toggles, runtime configuration, and externalized configuration.
- Strong understanding of application security, including OAuth2, JWT, API security, secrets management, and secure coding.
- Advanced SQL and database performance optimization experience.
- Experience implementing CI/CD, DevSecOps, automated testing, and software quality practices.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift is preferred.
- Experience with CloudWatch, Splunk, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry, or similar observability platforms is preferred.
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and influence technical decisions across multiple teams.
