We are seeking an experienced SeniorApplication Support Analyst to join a high-performing technology operations team supporting business-critical applications within a global financial services environment. Key Responsibilities
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 production support for mission-critical trading and business applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, ensuring minimal impact to business operations.
Manage incident escalation, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
Monitor application health, configure monitoring rules, and respond to production alerts.
Develop and maintain automation using Shell Scripting and Python to improve operational efficiency.
Manage application configuration changes and coordinate deployments with development and infrastructure teams.
Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system configurations.
Lead projects involving application deployment, server implementation, and operational improvements.
Support business continuity planning (BCP), IT security initiatives, and audit activities.
Collaborate closely with developers, infrastructure engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure stable and reliable production services.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
8+ years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or Technical Operations.
Strong experience supporting enterprise or financial applications in a production environment.
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with Shell Scripting (Bash/Ksh) and Python for automation.
Strong SQL skills with the ability to investigate and analyze production data.
Good understanding of server infrastructure, networking, and application architecture.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure.
Strong communication skills in English; Chinese language skills are an advantage
