Application Support Engineer (ReactJS, Python APIs & Azure) (Guadalajara)

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide L2/L3 application and production support for web applications and backend services running on Azure.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across:
    • ReactJS applications hosted on Azure Static Web Apps
    • FastAPI/Django services hosted on Azure App Service and Azure Container Apps
    • API integrations exposed through Azure API Management (APIM)
  • Investigate and resolve incidents related to application performance, API failures, authentication issues, deployment issues, and infrastructure health.
  • Use Azure Log Analytics and Application Insights to monitor system behavior, identify anomalies, analyze logs, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Support applications leveraging Azure AI Search and Azure AI Foundry components, including troubleshooting indexing, search relevance, model/service integration, and inference‑related issues.

Required Technical Skills
Application & Platform Support
  • Strong experience in application support/production support/site support for cloud‑hosted applications.
  • Good understanding of frontend support for ReactJS applications.
  • Experience supporting Python‑based APIs, preferably FastAPI and Django.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, request/response lifecycle, API authentication, and debugging tools such as Postman.

Azure Services
  • Hands‑on experience with Azure Static Web Apps, Azure App Service, Azure Container Apps, Azure API Management (APIM), Azure Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Ability to monitor application health, analyze telemetry, and troubleshoot deployment/runtime issues in Azure.

Search / AI Services
  • Experience supporting solutions built with Azure AI Search, Azure AI Foundry (or Azure OpenAI / AI service integrations).
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting search indexing, query issues, search relevance, and AI workflow/service connectivity.

Data & Caching
  • Working knowledge of Redis and PostgreSQL.
  • Ability to troubleshoot query performance, connection issues, caching behavior, and data‑related problems.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting
  • Strong experience in log analysis, incident triaging, root cause analysis (RCA), alert handling, performance troubleshooting.
  • Familiar with dashboards, telemetry, metrics, and distributed application monitoring.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in application support, production support, or cloud support engineering.
  • Hands‑on experience supporting distributed applications in Azure cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of web applications, APIs, cloud services, and modern support practices.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
