Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain applications through patches, upgrades, bug fixes, and corrective actions.
  • Monitor application upgrades, new releases, and technology changes affecting supported systems.
  • Configure and optimize application infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Investigate and resolve medium to high-complexity technical issues in collaboration with users, developers, and stakeholders.
  • Provide reports, recommendations, and insights on system performance and availability.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships relating to application support.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and application governance requirements.
  • Share technical knowledge with development and support teams.
  • Participate in after-hours standby support, production deployments, and business continuity exercises when required.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level 7) in:
    • Computer Science
    • Information Technology
    • Information Management
    • Or an equivalent qualification.

Certifications

  • SharePoint On-Premises Administration Certification (required).
