Job Description
Oversee full SDLC activities, covering enhancements, upgrades, and new feature delivery
Drive requirements discussions with business users and translate needs into clear documentation
Analyse solutions and produce system design options with feasibility insights
Coordinate development tasks, micro‑design work, and manage delivery timelines
Communicate with client IT teams to ensure smooth system integration and rollout
Support end‑to‑end testing, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure stable production deployment
Provide ongoing application maintenance and recommend improvement opportunities
Prepare and maintain project documentation for knowledge sharing and reuse
Assist in change management to ensure smooth implementation for both client and development teams
The Successful Applicant
Skilled in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JSP, NodeJS or .NET
Hands‑on with HTML/JS/CSS, responsive UI, and modern frontend frameworks (React/React Native a plus)
Familiar with Tomcat, WebSphere, Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD practices
Knowledge of Azure, containers, Docker, Kubernetes/AKS
Experience working with SOAP and RESTful APIs
Strong SQL experience across databases such as Informix, DB2, Oracle
Agile project experience is highly preferred
Background in insurance or public-facing web applications advantageous
Strong communication skills, proactive, and able to work independently
Cantonese-speaking with English reading/writing ability preferred
