About the role

The Applications Integration Developer is responsible for the end-to-end integration lifecycle, including design standards, development, deployment, and operational performance of all enterprise integrations. As the Applications Integration Developer, you will co-design, develop, and maintain integration solutions that connect enterprise applications, services, and data sources.

In this role you will provide subject matter expertise, development and implementation skills across various application data interfaces as well as multiple standard data exchange and integration protocols.

The Applications Integration Developer will also ensure that clinical, workforce, and financial data flows with high integrity and security, enabling real‑time decision‑making across all business units.

In addition to delivering high‑performing integration solutions to multiple digital platforms, the Applications Integration Developer will contribute to uplifting Uniting AgeWell’s applications development and management capability. This includes enhanced team collaboration, compliance and alignment to existing governance structures and support to the organisation’s strategic plans.

About you

This is the place for you if you have:

  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise systems integration and solution design across cloud and on‑premises environments
  • Proficiency in enterprise integration platforms (like Azure, Boomi, Workato, Mulesoft) with a preference for the Azure Integration Stack (Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Functions)
  • Extensive experience with service‑oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and API‑led connectivity, building and consuming RESTful/SOAP APIs, and managing API Management (APIM) gateway
  • Hands‑on experience with application development tools, programming languages and integration frameworks
  • Working understanding of enterprise applications, distributed systems, and multi‑tier architectures
  • Familiarity with RDBMS and SQL databases, message queuing systems, and enterprise service buses (ESB)
  • Strong grasp of software evaluation principles, performance tuning, and capacity planning
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing enterprise‑wide integration systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly developed organisation, analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one‑to‑one interactions
