Job Description – IT Apps Programmer Lead (Client Server Developer)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Apps Programmer Lead (Client Server Developer) to support the development of AI-enabled insurance applications and underwriting workbench solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong full-stack application development expertise, hands-on experience with modern cloud technologies, and the ability to collaborate across business and technology teams in an agile environment.

This role involves designing, developing, and enhancing web and backend systems while contributing to workflow automation initiatives and AI-driven business capabilities. The candidate will play a leadership role by guiding development teams, influencing technical decisions, and ensuring successful delivery of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-enabled web and backend applications.


• Build and enhance underwriting workbench capabilities and workflow automation solutions.


• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and developers to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.


• Develop cloud-native and enterprise applications using AWS, Angular, and .NET technologies.


• Lead technical discussions and contribute to architecture and design decisions.


• Support integration of AI prompting and intelligent automation capabilities into business workflows.


• Ensure code quality, performance optimization, security, and scalability standards are met.


• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, demos, and retrospectives.


• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to distributed development teams.


• Troubleshoot production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
