Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician
Apex Systems is currently hiring for an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician with a global aerospace and aviation technology manufacturing client. This team supports the production of industry-leading in-flight entertainment, satellite connectivity, and antenna systems used by commercial airlines around the world. This role will support manufacturing operations by performing electro-mechanical assembly, soldering, testing, and quality inspections on production and prototype hardware.
Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:
- 3+ years of electro-mechanical assembly and testing experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience soldering to IPC-610 standards and performing rework using IPC-7711/7721 procedures
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and manufacturing documentation
- Experience using hand tools, calibrated tools, torque drivers, torque wrenches, and assembly fixtures
- Hands-on experience assembling and disassembling mechanical and electrical assemblies
- Experience performing basic functional testing, including continuity, dielectric, and bonding tests
- Proficient computer skills for accessing drawings, work instructions, and production documentation
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, safety, and meeting production goals

Pay Range: $20-30/hour
