Production Operator

This role involves working in a controlled clean room environment to assemble, operate machinery, and perform final quality checks on materials. You will follow multi-step processes to build custom, specification-driven items while maintaining a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and safety. The position is primarily on 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly and operation tasks
  • Operate heat sealing equipment to assemble items according to specifications.
  • Follow detailed multi-step processes to assemble custom, customer-specific products.
  • Conduct final quality inspections on assembled units to ensure all quality standards are met.
  • Use hand tools, precision measuring tools, and other basic tools to complete assembly work accurately.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work diagrams to guide assembly and machine operation.
  • Learn and operate CNC machinery as required to support production needs.
  • Maintain high levels of attention to detail to ensure consistent quality and efficient workflow.
  • Work overtime when requested to meet production and project deadlines.

Essential Skills

  • Hands-on assembly experience, including working with flexible materials.
  • Ability to operate machinery such as heat sealing equipment and other basic production equipment.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics and work diagrams.
  • Skilled in using hand tools and precision measuring tools for accurate assembly and inspection.
  • Experience with quality inspection and final assembly processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with machine operation in a manufacturing or production setting.
  • Exposure to CNC machine operation or interest in learning CNC equipment.
  • Ability to follow written and visual work instructions, diagrams, and multi-step procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
