Servo Motor Assembler

As a Servo Motor Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and testing servo motors. This role involves the use of hand and power tools, adhering to manufacturing test procedures, and implementing continuous improvement ideas for the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test servo motors using hand and power tools.
  • Follow manufacturing test procedures and implement continuous improvement ideas.
  • Read and interpret schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Operate machine tools and production tooling and fixtures.
  • Place parts in specified relationships as sub-assemblies or final assemblies using soldering, clips, screws, or fastening techniques.
  • Perform soldering, hand brazing, or induction brazing as required.
  • Rotate to different work stations based on production needs.
  • Assist in packaging products into individual boxes and cases and placing them on skids.
  • Inspect and gauge finished parts, make tooling adjustments, and handle and move supplies and materials.
  • Verify that outside labels and unit labels match for all packet parts.
  • Perform daily and weekly safety checks of equipment and clean equipment and work areas.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in electronic and/or mechanical assembly.
  • Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Proficiency in machine tool operations and operation of production tooling and fixtures.
  • Capability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand for the duration of a shift, and perform physical activities such as bending, twisting, and reaching.
  • Proficiency in English reading, speaking, and understanding.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Soldering experience is a plus but not required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
