Hiring Mechanical Assemblers in New Freedom, PA

Join a stable, family-run manufacturer of high-quality medical and spa tables and beds, where you will assemble products used in doctor offices, hospitals, beauty salons, and other wellness settings. In this role, you will perform start-to-finish assembly and preparation of complete beds and tables, working with a variety of materials and components. You will receive cross-training across multiple departments, allowing you to build a broad skill set and contribute to different areas of the production process.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical assembly of tables and beds, including attaching legs, structural components, and mechanical parts that enable the products to move, sit up, or adjust.
  • Follow detailed assembly directions, drawings, schematics, and blueprints specific to each product to ensure accurate and consistent builds.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and air tools safely and effectively to assemble, fasten, and adjust components.
  • Measure and mark materials accurately using tape measures and basic mathematics to ensure proper fit and alignment.
  • Assist with sewing and upholstery tasks as needed, including attaching and finishing fabric or padding on products.
  • Support spray booth operations as required, preparing parts and products for finishing and ensuring quality standards.
  • Participate in shipping-related tasks, such as preparing assembled products for shipment and handling them carefully to prevent damage.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail throughout the assembly process to ensure high-quality workmanship and compliance with product specifications.
  • Work collaboratively with team members across different departments and remain flexible as you are cross-trained into new positions.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

This is a contract to hire position based out of New Freedom, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
