Job Title: Assembler

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembler to build and assemble electronic and mechanical components according to work orders, production drawings, and specifications. This position involves hands-on assembly, testing, troubleshooting, inventory support, and packaging of finished products.

Key Responsibilities

Read work orders, production drawings, sample assemblies, and verbal instructions
Position and align parts using jigs, fixtures, and other holding devices
Assemble components using screws, bolts, rivets, soldering, adhesives, crimping, and other methods
Install electronic components such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits
Connect wires and component leads to circuit boards, connectors, terminals, and other components
Assemble and attach hardware including clamps, knobs, switches, housings, and face plates
Perform intermediate assembly tasks such as sanding, cleaning, epoxy, bonding, stamping, and coding
Operate machines used to press, shape, or wind component parts
Perform go/no-go testing and inspections to ensure products meet specifications
Test and troubleshoot circuit boards and assemblies
Prepare, pick, and kit components using parts lists
Assist with rework and resolving product issues
Pull assemblies for sales orders and pack finished products
Track incoming parts and shortages needed to complete kits
Assist with inventory control of electronic and mechanical parts

Requirements

Previous assembly, electronics, manufacturing, or related experience preferred
Ability to read and follow work orders, production drawings, and quality procedures
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Basic mechanical and electronic assembly skills preferred
Ability to troubleshoot and test circuit boards is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs occasionally
Technical school or related training preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Work Details

Full-time, on-site position in Camarillo
Hands-on manufacturing and assembly environment
Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and working with small components
Low to moderate noise level
Occasional exposure to dust and airborne particles
