About Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Assembler to join a manufacturing team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately assembling components, performing quality checks, handling materials, and maintaining a clean and safe production environment. Key Responsibilities Inspect and assemble components accurately and efficiently. Perform quality measurements using relevant measuring tools. Read and follow work instructions, diagrams, and technical drawings. Conduct quality checks and report any deviations immediately. Identify assembly challenges and assist with implementing solutions. Move stock and stack pallets according to the required configuration. Load raw materials into hoppers. Maintain excellent housekeeping and cleanliness in the production area. Adhere strictly to security and privacy protocols. Meet production targets and maintain high standards of quality. Work overtime and shifts when required. Perform other reasonable duties as requested by management. Requirements Grade 12 / Matric or higher Minimum 2 years' experience in a plastics manufacturing environment Strong numerical and measurement skills. Good literacy and communication skills. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods. Ability to handle plastic components safely. Willingness to work shifts and overtime. Inherent Requirements No criminal record. Must pass an assessment and practical test. No colour vision deficiencies. 20/20 vision.
