Assembly and Packaging Associate

In this role, you will be responsible for production assembly activities, ensuring products meet quality specifications while maintaining food safety standards and productivity goals. Duties: As an Assembly and Packaging Associate, you will have a direct impact on airline customer satisfaction and be part of a team responsible for preparing products for flights out of LAX.
Functions and Responsibilities:
- Build kits of dry goods, liquor, beverage, and equipment items into airline containers according to airline specifications
- Assemble completed kits and various bulk items into airline carts, carriers, etc. according to specifications, boarding check-sheets, and assembly diagrams.
- Keep production areas in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Document inventory usage in compliance with regulatory and company requirements
- Comply with hygiene, jewelry, and use of PPE requirements
- Additional duties may be assigned as deemed necessary
Position Requirements:
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
- Previous airline catering or production assembly work preferred
- Must have a current food handler card
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Effective communication with supervisors and co-workers
- Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime on occasion
- Must be able to work in an operation that is a 24/7, 365-day environment and be flexible with shift/day off changes
- Must be comfortable working in cold temperatures of 40 degrees
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move 25-50lbs frequently
- Regularly stands, bends, and performs repetitive movements during work shift
