Key Responsibilities for the Assistant Controller:
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting
Support month-end/year-end close and review financial statements
Lead AP function and partner on process improvements across teams
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Maintain internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance
Support audits, tax preparation, and regulatory reporting
Qualifications for the Assistant Controller:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
712+ years of progressive accounting experience (construction/job costing/WIP preferred)
Strong knowledge of GAAP; CPA preferred
Experience with construction ERP systems (CMiC a plus)
