Assistant Program Coordinator

As an Assistant Program Coordinator (APC) in our residential program, you'll help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can grow, thrive, and achieve greater independence.
What You'll Do
- Step in as a reliable leader, ensuring the program runs smoothly in the Program Manager's absence by supervising your team, and coordinating daily activities and programs for all residents.
- Support children with daily routines including hygiene, meals, dressing, and medication.
- Create a positive, structured environment that encourages communication, play, and skill-building.
- Use behavior support strategies to promote emotional regulation and reduce challenging behavior.
- Partner with clinical, educational, and healthcare teams to support individualized treatment plans.
- Provide transportation and community integration support for outings, appointments, and school transitions.
What You Bring
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid and current U.S. driver's license with at least 1 year of licensed driving experience.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to support children with diverse communication and behavioral needs.
- Experience with children or individuals with special needs is required.
- The capacity to provide strong supervisory and leadership skills while supporting and guiding your team with empathy, patience, and respect.
