Associate CSSC Back Office Engineer – Monterrey, N.L., Mexico

Authorised to work in Mexico. Reports to CSSC Supervisor.


Job Overview

The role delivers world‑class technical support to customers, ensuring correct product sizing, application, and system solutions. The engineer coordinates special orders, manages tender and project support, and maintains accurate customer master data.


Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance to customers regarding product sizing, applications, system solutions, accessories, installations, prices, and other requirements, ensuring practical functionality.
  • Follow up on customer interactions within the set SLA.
  • Process special orders and inquiries in coordination with suppliers.
  • Support sales teams by handling tenders and projects, including providing dimensions, specifications, calculations, delivery timelines, operation, and maintenance information.
  • Identify business opportunities and hand over to external sales.
  • Maintain updated customer master data for the portfolio under responsibility.
  • Communicate, collaborate, and provide support with the respective product segment or other suppliers when local problem‑solving is not available.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics preferred) or equivalent technical discipline, or comparable experience within the pump industry (1‑2 years).
  • Strong mechanical and electrical ability.
  • Ability to support multiple customer requirements in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Skill in organizing and maintaining various files and logs.
  • Demonstrated ability to own customer requests and follow them to completion.
  • Effective communication with technical or non‑technical audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High customer/client focus.
  • Proficiency in application engineering with capability to assess technical specifications and develop comprehensive bid proposals for pumps and controls.
  • Experience training engineers and customers on pumping technology and products.
  • Valued experience with controls and control systems.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
