Associate Software Engineer, Cloud Software Engineer

R&D

Exempt

The Position will report to the Data Cloud Org.

• Develop in Java, tests and documents Cloud AWS software for new and existing Insulet products.
• Works closely with other software, software QA, and hardware engineers to integrate, debug, and test systems.
• Learn and follow Insulet Design Assurance SOPs.
• Provide timely support to team customers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1+ year’s software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated work experience with Web services, Cloud and API technologies.

• Understanding of Cloud architectural patterns and design.
• Experience building SpringBoot microservices.
• Experience with document and file databases, e.g. MongoDB.
• Experience working as Java developer.
• Understanding of software development principles and patterns, e.g. TDD, SOLID, Gang of Four.
• Experience with Git or similar version control solution.
• Occasional business travel within US.

This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements and requires on-site work from an Insulet office at least three (3) days per week.
