Business Unit Overview
The Quantitative Engineering & Development (QED) team provides a full suite of quantitative development and risk management services to global equity derivatives sales and trading desks, playing a pivotal role in providing quantitative solutions and development.
Responsibilities
- Support and facilitate daily front‑office operations in collaboration with trading teams.
- Investigate system discrepancies for vanilla and exotic derivatives products.
- Maintain data integrity of the book‑of‑record system (Sophis).
- Support the trading desks and their activities on a daily basis.
- Assist in testing system releases.
- Fully document all newly developed processes.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of work experience in derivatives operations and pricing with exposure to equity, FX, commodity, interest rate or credit derivatives.
- Solid background in mathematics, statistics and finance, preferably at the graduate level.
- Understanding of the pricing theory of equity derivatives.
- Proficiency in Python, Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet‑based analysis.
- Experience with Bloomberg, Reuters, Sophis and Calypso systems preferred.
