Automation Qa Engineer With Javascript, Mobile Quality Platform
Client: Our client is a global technology company operating in the travel and loyalty solutions domain.
Project overview: The Mobile Quality Platform focuses on ensuring stable, user friendly mobile experiences across multiple products.
The initiative aims to enhance quality engineering practices, automation coverage, and regression prevention.
- Responsibilities: Identify defects early and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve them
- Enhance QA processes, frameworks, and methodologies for efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and design to strengthen user centric mobile experiences
- Embed quality practices early in the SDLC and ensure thorough test coverage
- Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks and scripts for iOS and Android
- Support and mentor less experienced QA team members
- Conduct usability testing with attention to diverse user needs
- Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript for automation development
- Experience validating mobile, web, and backend systems in integrated environments
- Knowledge of Appium and WebdriverIO
- Experience building automation frameworks from scratch
- Experience performing usability testing
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and TestRail
- Understanding of Agile SDLC and QA methodologies
- Attention to UI and UX details including layout and visual consistency
- Experience working in Agile and Kanban environments
- Experience collaborating with external partners or vendors
- Nice to have: Experience in travel or loyalty as a service industries
- Experience with accessibility testing on iOS and Android
- Knowledge of Java or Kotlin
