You'll be part of a strong, experienced team in Sydney while working closely with Nasdaq colleagues across the globe. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, test, and maintain automation systems, frameworks, and software tools that power our surveillance platform.* Enhance and optimize existing software products to improve performance, functionality, and usability.* Build robust, scalable test automation solutions covering functional, regression, and performance testing.* Identify and drive improvements to development and testing processes, contributing to shared automation tooling.* Apply deep technical expertise to make informed technology decisions that create competitive advantage for our clients and users. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.* 8+ years of experience as a software developer and/or automation engineer.* 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python and/or Java.* Solid experience with Linux/Unix environments, shell scripting, and virtualized infrastructure.* Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), Docker, Git, and database technologies (PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Preferred Qualifications * Experience in financial markets, trading systems, or a regulated industry.* Familiarity with front-end technologies such as TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, or CSS.* Experience with Kubernetes, Puppet, Jira, or Bitbucket. This position is located in Sydney, Australia and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 2 days a week in-office (may increase to 3 days in the future).
