We are looking for a talented Senior Automation Test Engineer to take ownership of the test automation strategy and tool implementation.
As the sole AQA on the team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of both UI and API functionalities, leveraging Java and cutting-edge automation frameworks. Success in this role involves deep technical expertise, outstanding analytical skills, and a passion for creating robust test solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
- Automate regression, functional, and smoke tests for web and backend services
- Define and execute automation plans aligned with established testing standards
- Integrate automated test cycles into CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot and address system issues efficiently
- Automate backend testing for REST APIs
- Document defects with thorough reporting
- Manage test data alongside test environments
- Oversee the version control and optimization of test scripts
- Contribute to mainframe automation initiatives when relevant
Requirements :
- 3+ years in test automation roles, including Quality Assurance or hybrid development/testing functions
- Expertise in automation scripting with Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured
- Proficiency with Git, Jenkins, and Continuous Integration tools
- Understanding of functional, integration, and regression testing
- Familiarity with REST and SOAP API automation protocols
- Proficiency in SQL and test data mocking capabilities
- Background in agile testing methodologies
- Experience merging testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines
- Competency in mainframe automation and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher

- Familiarity with tools such as Cucumber, Playwright, and Azure
