Key Responsibilities:/Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Handle phone moves.
  • Headset installations, troubleshooting headset issues, etc.
  • Feet on the floor assistance to backline teams (i.e. trace trunks, vendor assistance for onsite repairs/visits, etc.) PBX system administration.
  • Program call specific routing for Managers/Assistants, etc.
  • Set up voice mail for new users, resetting voice mail password, remove voice mail for term'd users, etc.
  • Route Broadcast messages for site.
  • Technical Degree Voice preferred.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to interact positively with peers, managers, customers, and service providers.
  • Must be self-directed with independent problem-solving ability and basic documentation skills.
  • Previous experience in customer support, voice operations, Avaya PBX and Avaya VoIP administration, or another related area.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with configuration and troubleshooting Avaya VoIP systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience troubleshooting voice and circuits (SIP, PRIs, Trunks).
  • Experience supporting PolyCom Telepresence / Video Conferencing systems is a plus.
