STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer on behalf of our client for a remote opportunity. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AWS cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, platform engineering, and production operations. This role will focus on building reusable cloud capabilities, improving developer productivity, and ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable application delivery.
Key Responsibilities-
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and platform automation.

Develop reusable automation for environment provisioning, deployments, monitoring, and operational processes.

Support production operations, incident management, root cause analysis, and reliability engineering.

Implement DevSecOps practices, security controls, governance, and compliance automation.

Partner with engineering teams on production readiness, resiliency, and operational best practices.

Develop platform capabilities that improve developer productivity and operational consistency.

Implement and maintain observability and monitoring solutions across cloud environments.

Support governance and oversight for emerging AI-enabled applications and platforms.

Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud engineering and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Proven experience with CI/CD, DevOps, automation, and platform engineering.

Experience with containers, APIs, distributed systems, and modern software delivery practices.

Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar technologies.

Experience supporting production environments and reliability engineering initiatives.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with observability tools such as AWS CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk.

Knowledge of governance automation, policy-as-code, auditability, and compliance controls.

Experience with security telemetry, DevSecOps, and regulated environments.

Experience with AI governance, model monitoring, or agent/LLM observability.

Strong understanding of platform enablement and developer experience initiatives.

A platform-focused engineer who uses automation to balance speed, reliability, security, and governance.

Strong emphasis on observability, operational excellence, and scalable platform solutions.
