Required Skills & Qualifications
- AWS Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, VPC, IAM) and enterprise-level management tools (AWS Control Tower, Organizations, AWS Organizations SCPs, AWS RAM).
- Proven Carve-Out Experience: Direct experience working on corporate demergers, spin-offs, or complex cloud-to-cloud migrations is highly critical for this role.
- Advanced Infrastructure as Code: Expert-level proficiency with Terraform (structuring multi-account workspaces, module registries, and state management).
- CI/CD Mastery: Deep experience setting up and securing self-hosted runners, secret management systems (AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault), and isolation boundaries within deployment pipelines.
- Regulated Environment Background: Prior experience in MedTech, Biotech, Healthcare, or Pharmaceuticals. Understanding how to validate infrastructure under change-control protocols and GxP standards.
- Strong Scripting/Coding: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for custom migration scripting and automation tooling.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional is highly desirable.
- Experience handling large-scale data migrations using tools like AWS DataSync, DMS (Database Migration Service), or custom S3 replication models.
- Strong consulting mindset with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics typical of $10B+ corporate divestitures.
