The Opportunity
I'm working with a well-funded early-stage startup looking to hire a Founding Product Engineer to help build and scale a product that's already gaining strong traction with customers. This is a hands-on role where you'll work directly with the founders, taking ownership of features from idea through to production. You'll have significant influence over both the product and technical direction as the company continues to grow
What You'll Be Doing
• Building customer-facing features across the full stack
• Designing and developing backend services, APIs, and data models
• Working closely with customers and founders to understand problems and shape solutions
•Taking ownership of architecture and technical decisions
• Shipping quickly, gathering feedback, and iterating based on real user needs
• Helping establish engineering best practices as the team grows
What They're Looking For
• Strong commercial experience with Python
• Experience building modern web applications using TypeScript and React
• Solid SQL and database design skills
• Product-minded engineer who enjoys solving customer problems
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
• Proven experience shipping features end-to-end
• Startup or early-stage company experience is highly desirable
