AWS SQL Developer

Job Description:
- Strong experience managing and optimizing distributed NoSQL databases such as Cassandra and Couchbase, including cluster expansion, capacity planning, performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Deep understanding of Cassandra architecture and internals, including Gossip protocol, peer-to-peer communication, replication strategies, compaction strategies, and incremental repairs.
- Hands-on expertise with Cassandra administration tools such as nodetool and dsetool for cluster configuration, node management, and performance optimization.
- Also experience with Couchbase tools such as cbq Proven experience performing database backup and recovery operations using NodeTool snapshots, CBQ and DataStax OpsCenter.
- Experience with SSTable migration and data movement activities across live Cassandra clusters with minimal downtime.
- Strong hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools including DSE OpsCenter, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Ability to collaborate with customers and stakeholders to explain database architecture concepts, evaluate requirements, and recommend scalable and reliable database solutions.
- Working knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
- Expertise in managing large-scale, multi-instance, multi-tenant server environments with a focus on reliability, scalability, and operational excellence. Cassandra DBACouchbase DBAGCP , AWSSQL Database, PostgresCI/CDJira, Rally.
