Job Description:
As an Azure Cloud Developer, you will design, develop, and support cloud-native applications and services within a Microsoft Azure environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions while supporting modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cloud-native applications using Azure services.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices.
- Develop solutions using .NET Core, .NET 7+, or Node.js.
- Implement Azure Functions, App Services, and AKS deployments.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Integrate applications with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Data Factory.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Troubleshoot and optimize cloud applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and security teams.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and solution design guidance.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture.
- Expertise in Azure App Services, Functions, AKS, Storage, and API Management.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React, Angular, or Vue.
- Experience with .NET Core, .NET 7+, or Node.js development.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong SQL Server and Cosmos DB experience.
- Knowledge of Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of security best practices, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and Azure AD.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
