Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Azure Databricks Developer - Python/Banking. This position is designed for an experienced developer to support vendor integration projects within a dynamic banking environment. The role offers a long-term contract opportunity with potential for extension and conversion, providing a stable platform for career growth and skill development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data processing and analytics pipelines in Azure Databricks using Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate vendor systems and ensure data accuracy.
- Implement and optimize solutions within the Azure cloud environment.
- Work on testing and validation of data workflows to ensure quality and performance.
- Contribute to documentation of technical requirements and solutions.
- Support ongoing enhancements and troubleshooting of existing data infrastructure.
Desired Skill-Set
- Proven experience as a developer in data and analytics projects.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.
- Practical knowledge of Azure Databricks platform.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Experience with vendor integrations is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Testing experience in a QA environment.
- Familiarity with banking or financial services projects.
